Aer Lingus Get 999 People Into Shamrock Undies in London PR Stunt
Well, its not often that you can legitimately mention an airline on an underwear blog, but today those lovely people at Aer Lingus have made it possible for us to write about aviation instead of mens underpants. The Irish airline managed to persuade 999 members of the public to bare all in the centre of London with naught but some well placed shamrock undies to spare their blushes. The reason? Why to promote their brand new £9.99 fare out of Gatwick airport to 8 European destinations.
Alas, as the police got themselves involved (didn’t they have some homeless people to harrass somewhere?) Aer Lingus had to be very careful with this particular stunt. They were warned that any sight of mens and womens naughty parts would result in arrests, because lets face it the London Eye would spontaneously combust should it be subjected to the sight of bare bums or *gasp* unshacked genitalia!
Without further ado, here are some pics. PG at best, but there’s one or two nice fit bods knocking about to gawp at.
